This new log home in Coeur d’Alene, ID was lightly washed using Lovitt’s Cleaner/brightener kits, even though wood is new it needs to be cleaned and brightened prior to applying a wood finish! Many a contractor skips this step and attributes to early failure, boot marks, and construction marks being trapped under the finish. We see it often, and it is very sad to start off that way.

Lovitt’s Natural Gold oil based wood finish was used on this project, nothing brings out the natural beauty of wood like Lovitt’s Natural Gold! Now, for those who don’t know, this is how a log home should look! We used a Cedar tint on this Log home.
